Textile Design Master

We are looking for a talented Textile Design Master to join our team as an individual contributor. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the creative design process for our fabric collections from concept to final product. You will work independently to bring innovative ideas to life, ensuring that the designs align with the brand’s aesthetic, quality standards, and market demands. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled designer with a deep understanding of fabric construction, pattern making, and textile knowledge, capable of working autonomously while ensuring the highest design standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Development: Independently develop and execute seasonal collections from initial concept through to final design, including sketches, tech packs, and prototypes.
• Trend Research: Conduct extensive research on current and emerging fashion trends, fabric innovations, and consumer preferences to inform the design process.
• Technical Expertise: Create detailed technical drawings and specifications for fabric construction, ensuring that all design elements are achievable within production constraints.
• Fabric Selection: Select fabrics and materials that meet both aesthetic and functional requirements, ensuring quality, durability, and alignment with design concepts.
• Sample Development: Work closely with sample makers to develop and refine prototypes, ensuring that the design vision is realized accurately in physical form.
• Collaboration with Production: Collaborate with the production team to ensure that designs are manufacturable within cost, time, and quality parameters, providing guidance where necessary.
• Quality Control: Ensure that each garment design maintains consistency and meets high standards of craftsmanship throughout the development and production stages.
• Time Management: Manage your design workload independently, ensuring that all deadlines are met without compromising design quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in garment/Fabric design with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design styles and expertise in garment construction.
• In-depth knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, and fabric types.
• Excellent sketching and illustration skills.
• Strong attention to detail, with an ability to troubleshoot and refine designs as needed.
• Solid understanding of the production process and the ability to create designs that are both innovative and manufacturable.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly to both creative and production teams.
• Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously.
• A passion for fashion, design trends, and sustainable garment practices.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
