Job Description of TGT Computer Teacher:

Responsibilities:

1. **Teaching**:

- Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in Computer Science for Classes 6 to 10.

- Utilize a variety of teaching methods, including lectures, hands-on coding sessions, and group projects.

2. **Curriculum Development**:

- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum.

- Create and update instructional materials, such as presentations, coding exercises, and project guidelines.

3. **Assessment**:

- Design and conduct periodic assessments, quizzes, and examinations to evaluate student understanding.

- Provide constructive feedback to students regarding their performance and progress.

4. **Laboratory Management**:

- Conduct practical sessions in the computer lab, ensuring that safety protocols and procedures are followed.

- Manage and maintain lab equipment and software resources, ensuring they are functional and up-to-date.

5. **Student Support**:

- Offer additional support and tutoring for students who need help with programming concepts and assignments.

- Encourage student participation in coding competitions, hackathons, and technology fairs.

6. **Classroom Management**:

- Foster a positive and disciplined classroom environment that promotes active learning and collaboration.

- Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills among students.

7. **Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate Computer Science with other subjects and projects.

- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school initiatives and activities.

8. **Professional Development**:

- Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in Computer Science education and technology.

- Attend workshops, seminars, and training sessions for continuous professional growth.

Qualifications:

- **Education**: A Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field,

- **Experience**: Previous teaching experience in a CBSE school is preferred.

- **Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, programming languages, and Computer Science concepts.

- Proficiency in using technology and educational software to enhance learning.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
