TGT Computer Teacher

Central Academy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Computer Teacher for Primary and Secondary classes. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge in computer studies, a logical teaching approach, and the ability to make computer concepts engaging and easy to understand for students.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Computer Studies to primary school students as per the prescribed curriculum.
• Introduce students to basic computer concepts, hardware, software, and digital tools.
• Plan and deliver interactive lessons using practical demonstrations and hands-on activities.
• Guide students in using computers safely and responsibly.
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and practical assignments.
• Assess students’ learning through practical work, tests, and classroom activities.
• Maintain records of attendance, assessments, and student progress.
• Ensure proper use and basic maintenance of computer lab equipment.
• Support school events, projects, and technology-related activities.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and academic planning.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• B.Ed., D.El.Ed., or relevant teaching qualification
• Certification or diploma in computer applications will be an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of computer fundamentals, applications, and digital tools.
• Good communication and classroom management skills
• Patience and ability to engage students effectively

Preferred Experience

• Experience teaching CBSE / ICSE / Cambridge curriculum
• Familiarity with digital teaching tools and smart classrooms
