Job Description

Paavai Vidhyashram Senior Secondary School (Affiliation No. 1930349) invites applications from qualified and passionate English teachers for the post of TGT – English. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a strong command of English grammar and literature, and the ability to engage students in creative and analytical learning.

Responsibilities

• Teach English language and literature to middle and senior school students (Classes VI–X).
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and assessment materials.
• Foster a positive learning environment focused on fluency, comprehension, and expression.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Participate in school activities, competitions, and events as assigned.
• Maintain classroom discipline and ensure academic excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English / B.A. (English) with B.Ed. (mandatory).
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience preferred (CBSE experience will be an advantage).
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Passion for teaching and continuous learning.

Salary

₹30,000 – ₹50,000 per month (commensurate with qualification and experience).
