TGT English (Trained Graduate Teacher – EnglisH)
Position Overview: The TGT English teacher is responsible for teaching English language and literature to students in accordance with the school curriculum and educational standards. The role involves lesson planning, classroom management, student assessment, and overall academic development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach English language, grammar, writing skills, and literature effectively.
- Prepare lesson plans in line with CBSE curriculum guidelines.
- Conduct classroom lectures, discussions, and interactive activities.
- Develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
- Assign homework, projects, and assessments.
- Evaluate answer sheets and provide constructive feedback.
- Prepare students for internal exams and board examinations.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher meetings, and school events.
- Maintain records of student attendance and academic performance.
- Encourage creative expression through debates, essays, drama, and literary activities.
Qualification & Eligibility:
- Bachelor’s Degree in English (B.A. English).
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) – Mandatory.
- Qualified in CTET/STET (preferred as per school requirement).
- Strong command over English language and literature.
- Good communication and classroom management skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Smart Board teaching).
Experience:
- 1–3 years of teaching experience preferred.
- Freshers with strong subject knowledge may also apply.
