Position: TGT Social Studies (Grades 6–10 CBSE)

Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and engaging TGT Social Studies Teacher to teach Grades 6 to 10 under the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate should be able to make History, Geography, Political Science, and Economics meaningful and relatable, while developing critical thinking, analytical skills, and civic awareness among students.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver well-structured Social Studies lessons in alignment with the CBSE curriculum for Grades 6–10.
- Teach core subjects including History, Geography, Political Science (Civics), and Economics.
- Encourage inquiry-based learning, map work, project-based activities, debates, and discussions.
- Develop students’ analytical thinking, interpretation of historical events, and understanding of socio-economic and political concepts.
- Guide students in structured answer writing as per CBSE examination patterns.
- Conduct regular assessments, assignments, map work, projects, and periodic tests.
- Prepare students for internal assessments and CBSE Board examinations (Grade 10).
- Maintain lesson plans, academic records, and assessment documentation.
- Provide constructive feedback and academic support to improve student performance.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding academic progress and learning needs.
- Participate actively in school events, exhibitions, assemblies, and co-curricular activities.
Qualifications and SkillsEducation
- Bachelor’s Degree in History / Geography / Political Science / Economics or related field with B.Ed (mandatory).
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in middle or secondary classes at a CBSE or equivalent school.
Skills
- Strong subject knowledge across Social Studies disciplines.
- Familiarity with CBSE curriculum and assessment standards.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts and relate them to current events and real-life contexts.
- Effective classroom management and communication skills.
- Proficiency in smart classroom tools and digital teaching platforms.
Accommodation & Facilities
- Free meals provided on campus for relocated staff.
- Accommodation to be arranged independently outside the campus; an accommodation allowance is included in the salary.
- School support available for identifying nearby housing; shared accommodation is permitted.
- Transportation provided from a common pickup point to the campus during school hours.
