Role Overview

To educate, inspire, and nurture students' language skills, cultural awareness, and communication abilities, while fostering critical thinking, creativity, and self-expression through the teaching of reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in Hindi, ultimately preparing students to become proficient, confident, and effective communicators in an increasingly globalized world.

Key Responsibilities

  • Curriculum Delivery: Develop and deliver Hindi language curriculum that aligns with national and state standards, teaching reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills effectively.
  • Assessment & Feedback: Assess and evaluate student language proficiency levels and provide constructive feedback to improve language skills.
  • Cultural Awareness: Teach cultural nuances, traditions, and literature to promote appreciation and understanding of Hindi heritage.
  • Communication Skills: Foster effective communication skills in students, including public speaking, writing, and presentation skills, encouraging them to express themselves confidently.
  • Lesson Planning: Develop engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and manage classroom dynamics to promote a positive and respectful learning environment.
  • Student Engagement: Encourage student participation in Hindi language activities and motivate students to develop a lifelong interest in language learning.

  • Student Feedback: 80% positive feedback from students through structured feedback forms.
  • Parent’s Feedback: 80% positive feedback from parents gathered via periodic surveys.
  • Syllabi Completion: 100% of the prescribed syllabus to be covered and documented in the syllabi format.
  • Improvement of All Students: Each student should demonstrate at least a 10% improvement from the first to subsequent internal assessments.
  • Academic Performance: At least 50% of students should score above 75% in internal exams and board assessments.

Skills

Strong command of Hindi language, curriculum delivery, classroom management, student engagement, effective communication, creativity, and cultural awareness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hindi or a related discipline.
  • B.Ed. (mandatory).
  • Experience teaching Hindi in CBSE or state curriculum preferred.
