TGT Hindi /Sanskrit Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) for Hindi and Sanskrit to join our esteemed CBSE institution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering advanced language skills and a deeper appreciation for Hindi literature among middle and secondary students. You will create a stimulating learning environment, deliver comprehensive lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum, and inspire students to achieve linguistic excellence.

## Responsibilities

Ø Design and deliver engaging and structured Hindi/Sanskrit lessons for students in grades 6-10, ensuring alignment with CBSE curriculum standards.

Ø Develop students' advanced proficiency in Hindi, including complex grammar, composition, comprehension, and literature analysis.

Ø Cultivate a classroom atmosphere that encourages critical thinking, literary appreciation, and confident self-expression in Hindi.

Ø Assess and evaluate student progress through a variety of methods, including tests, assignments, projects, and presentations.

Ø Provide detailed and constructive feedback to students and parents on academic performance, strengths, and areas for improvement.

Ø Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, academic grades, and progress reports.

Ø Participate actively in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and school events.

Ø Guide students in literary activities such as debates, recitations, and creative writing to enhance their practical command of the language.

Ø Collaborate with colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary approaches and promote holistic learning.

Ø Stay updated with the latest CBSE guidelines and developments in Hindi pedagogy through professional development.

Key qualifications for your role

Ø Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Hindi or a related field (e.g., Hindi Literature, Modern Indian Languages).

Ø B.Ed. or equivalent teaching certification.

Ø Prior experience (2+ years preferred) teaching Hindi /Sanskrit at the secondary level (CBSE-affiliated schools advantageous).

Ø In-depth knowledge of the CBSE Hindi curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment methods.

Ø Passion for fostering language proficiency, cultural appreciation, and creative expression in students.
