Role Overview:

The Social Studies teacher must bring alive subjects like History, Civics, Geography, and Economics, making them engaging and relevant. Should aim to develop students' awareness of society, environment, culture, and global affairs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the academic curriculum.
• Encourage discussions, debates, and critical thinking.
• Integrate maps, case studies, and real-world examples into lessons.
• Prepare students for board and periodic assessments.
• Inculcate civic responsibility and ethical understanding in students.

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Strong general knowledge and research-based teaching approach.
• Ability to simplify historical and geographical concepts.
• Excellent storytelling and presentation skills.
• Experience with digital mapping tools or virtual tours is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in History/Geography/Political Science
• B.Ed. required
• 2–4 years of teaching experience will be an added advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
