We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) for Social Science to join our academic team. Freshers with a strong hold on the subject and excellent communication skills are also encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of History, Geography, Political Science, and Economics, along with the ability to engage students through creative teaching methodologies and classroom management.
1. Academic Delivery
- Teach Social Science subjects (History, Geography, Civics, and Economics) to classes 6–10 as per the prescribed syllabus (CBSE/State Board).
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and academic materials aligned with the school curriculum and educational objectives.
- Conduct interactive sessions that encourage critical thinking, inquiry, and discussion among students.
- Integrate current events, social issues, and real-life examples to make classroom learning meaningful and relevant.
2. Assessment & Evaluation
- Design and conduct formative and summative assessments to evaluate student learning outcomes.
- Provide timely feedback, maintain detailed student progress records, and communicate academic performance to parents and school authorities.
- Prepare and review question papers, answer keys, and evaluation reports.
3. Classroom Management & Discipline
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes respect and cooperation among students.
- Implement effective classroom management techniques and ensure adherence to school rules and discipline.
4. Co-Curricular Engagement
- Encourage student participation in debates, quizzes, exhibitions, and other academic competitions related to Social Science.
- Plan and accompany students on educational field trips, excursions, and heritage walks.
5. Professional Responsibilities
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development programs organized by the school.
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
- Contribute to school events, annual functions, and cultural programs.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in History / Geography / Political Science / Economics or a related discipline.
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) from a recognized university (mandatory).
- Strong subject knowledge and fluency in English (both written and spoken).
- Good classroom communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, Google Classroom, etc.) preferred.
- Freshers with excellent command over the subject and teaching aptitude are welcome to apply.
