TGT SOCIAL SCIENCE AND ENGLISH

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate *Social Science and English Teacher* who can teach students effectively, create an engaging classroom environment, and support students in improving their academic performance and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching & Academic Duties:

* Teach Social Science and English as per the school curriculum.

* Plan and deliver well-structured lessons according to the academic calendar.

* Prepare worksheets, assignments, classwork, and homework.

* Conduct regular tests, assessments, and evaluations.

Student Development:

* Encourage students to develop critical thinking, reading habits, and good communication skills.

* Help students improve vocabulary, writing skills, and comprehension.

* Support students with extra help and remedial teaching when required.

Classroom Management:

* Maintain discipline and a positive classroom atmosphere.

* Ensure students are actively involved in learning through activities and discussions.

Planning & Reporting:

* Maintain student attendance, progress records, and report cards.

* Provide regular feedback to students and parents.

* Participate in parent-teacher meetings.

School Support Duties:

* Participate in school events, activities, assemblies, and competitions.

* Work collaboratively with other teachers and coordinators.

* Follow school policies and contribute to overall school development.

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in *Social Science / English / Education*.

* *B.Ed* preferred .

* Good command over *spoken and written English*.

* Strong subject knowledge of Social Science and English

* Excellent communication and presentation skills.

* Ability to handle students with patience and confidence.

* Creative teaching methods and activity-based learning approach.

* Good classroom management skills.

* Basic computer knowledge (MS Word, PPT, online teaching tools).
