Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified and passionate TGT Social Science Teacher to teach students of classes 6–10 as per the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, effective teaching methodologies, and the ability to engage students in active learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Social Science subjects (History, Geography, Civics, Economics) to classes 6–10 in alignment with CBSE curriculum.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and assignments to make learning interactive and student-centered.
• Conduct classroom sessions, projects, and activities to develop critical thinking and analytical skills in students.
• Assess and evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, and formative assessments.
• Maintain discipline, classroom management, and a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with other teachers and participate in school activities, events, and parent-teacher meetings.
• Stay updated with CBSE guidelines and integrate innovative teaching methods and educational technology tools.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Arts (B.A.) with Social Science subjects + B.Ed. (mandatory).
• Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CBSE syllabus and examination pattern.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
• Ability to use digital teaching tools (smart boards, e-learning platforms).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Postgraduate degree (M.A.) in Social Science subjects.
• Experience in co-curricular activities related to Social Studies (debates, quizzes, projects).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
