TGT/PGT Computer Teacher
Role Definition:
The Computer Teacher is responsible for developing students’ digital literacy, computational thinking, and practical computer skills. The teacher delivers curriculum-aligned instruction, promotes responsible technology use, and prepares students to effectively use computers and digital tools in academics and daily life, in line with CBSE guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (BCA / B.Sc Computer Science / B.E. / B.Tech / BA).
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) – Mandatory.
- Eligibility as per CBSE norms for TGT/PGT Teachers.
- Strong knowledge of computer fundamentals, applications, and basic programming.
- Proficiency in using teaching aids and basic computer skills for lesson planning, assessments, and academic reporting.
Tasks & Activities:
- Participate in academic planning, meetings, and professional development programs.
- Uphold school policies, CBSE norms, and ethical teaching standards.Plan and deliver Computer Science lessons as per the CBSE curriculum and academic plan.
- Teach fundamentals of computer systems, software applications, programming basics, and digital safety.
- Conduct practical lab sessions and ensure effective hands-on learning experiences.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments aligned with learning outcomes.
- Evaluate student performance in theory and practical work and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure proper use, maintenance, and discipline in the computer laboratory.
- Promote cyber safety, digital citizenship, and ethical use of technology.
- Integrate educational software, multimedia tools, and online resources into teaching.
- Identify learning gaps and provide remedial and enrichment support.
- Coordinate with technical staff for lab management and system upkeep.
- Maintain discipline and a structured learning environment in classrooms and labs.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and academic concerns.
- Participate in academic planning, meetings, training, events and professional development programs.
- Uphold school policies, CBSE norms, and ethical teaching standards.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
