The Brass Tap - Bartender

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at a vibrant establishment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with customer needs
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Check customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Uphold food safety standards and follow proper procedures for handling and serving beverages
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely service of drinks

Experience:
- Proven experience working as a Bartender in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Proficiency in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with patrons effectively
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with sales techniques and upselling strategies
- Basic math skills for handling payments accurately
