The Wok - Hiring & Training Front of House Staff

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests. You will work in a fast-paced environment, handling various tasks from taking orders to assisting in food preparation.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using the POS system.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
• Operate the cash register efficiently, processing payments and managing cash transactions.
• Assist in food preparation and ensure that all kitchen operations meet health and safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area, including dining spaces and service counters.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain quality standards.
• Demonstrate strong time management skills to handle peak hours effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance sales opportunities.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a quick service fast food restaurant is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude.
• Basic culinary skills with an understanding of food preparation processes.
• Familiarity with cash register operations; experience with the POS is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift items as needed.
