Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Therapist/Art Therapist to join our dynamic mental health and wellness team. In this role, you will utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques—including art therapy, music therapy, dance therapy, and recreational therapy—to support individuals across diverse age groups and backgrounds. Your expertise will help clients improve their emotional well-being, develop coping skills, and achieve personal growth.
Duties
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as behavioral therapy, mental health counseling, and other evidenced-based therapy techniques.
- Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with each client’s needs.
- Incorporate creative modalities like art therapy, music therapy, dance therapy, and recreational activities to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in accordance with HIPAA guidelines, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate patient care plans and monitor progress through detailed documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Art Therapy, or a related field; licensure or certification as required by state law.
- Proven experience working with children, individuals with disabilities—including autism spectrum disorder.
- Strong knowledge of behavioral health practices and mental health counseling techniques.
- Familiarity with medical documentation standards.
- Ability to conduct group therapy sessions effectively while fostering a supportive environment.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and engage clients of diverse backgrounds.

Pay: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour
