Therapist/Art Therapist

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Therapist/Art Therapist to join our dynamic mental health and wellness team. In this role, you will utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques—including art therapy, music therapy, dance therapy, and recreational therapy—to support individuals across diverse age groups and backgrounds. Your expertise will help clients improve their emotional well-being, develop coping skills, and achieve personal growth.

Duties

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as behavioral therapy, mental health counseling, and other evidenced-based therapy techniques.
• Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with each client’s needs.
• Incorporate creative modalities like art therapy, music therapy, dance therapy, and recreational activities to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in accordance with HIPAA guidelines, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate patient care plans and monitor progress through detailed documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Art Therapy, or a related field; licensure or certification as required by state law.
• Proven experience working with children, individuals with disabilities—including autism spectrum disorder.
• Strong knowledge of behavioral health practices and mental health counseling techniques.
• Familiarity with medical documentation standards.
• Ability to conduct group therapy sessions effectively while fostering a supportive environment.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and engage clients of diverse backgrounds.

Pay: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour
