Overview

The role involves managing multi-location contract manufacturing partners, ensuring seamless operations, compliance, quality, and cost optimisation while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities 1. Production Planning & Budgeting

• Prepare data for annual budgeting (last year vs. budget vs. projections)
• Monitor actual vs. budgeted costs and recommend corrective actions
• Support cost optimisation initiatives to align with business goals

2. Contract Manufacturing Management

• Identify and onboard 3rd party manufacturers across locations/geographies
• Finalise agreements with contract manufacturers, including SLAs and commercial terms
• Ensure smooth setup and ongoing operations in compliance with legal, quality, and packaging standards
• Monitor project timelines using Gantt charts and escalate risks to ensure timely completion

3. Operations & Execution

• Manage transition projects such as regulatory changes, product relaunches, and new product development (NPD)
• Ensure production of goods as per defined quality standards
• Follow up with manufacturers to ensure finished goods availability as per dispatch plans
• Resolve and escalate operational issues faced by contract manufacturers

4. Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with internal teams including Marketing, Finance, Quality, R&D, and Warehousing
• Ensure smooth coordination to maintain product availability and business continuity

5. Reporting & Analysis

• Generate and analyse production reports from contract manufacturing units
• Support S &OP planning by providing relevant data
• Review financial cost data and highlight key variances during quarterly reviews

Must Have

• Graduation Degree (Engineering background preferred)
• Prior experience in 3rd party/contract manufacturing within the FMCG industry (GCC exposure preferred)
• Strong working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Excel
• Dispatch adherence as per weekly plan
• Cost optimisation (including reduction in key ingredient costs)
• Timely and accurate reporting to management
• Effective coordination ensuring uninterrupted product supply
