Job Description

As a GDS Ticketing & Reservation Manager, you will be responsible for managing and assisting customers with all travel-related requirements. Your key role includes booking flights, issuing tickets, handling modifications, and ensuring a smooth and seamless travel experience for clients. You will work closely with airlines and travel partners to deliver accurate information and exceptional service.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with flight bookings, including details on airlines, schedules, and fares.
  • Process ticket reservations and issue both electronic and paper tickets using GDS platforms.
  • Handle ticket modifications, cancellations, rebookings, and refund calculations.
  • Provide excellent customer service by resolving all reservation-related inquiries and issues.
  • Coordinate with airlines and travel partners to ensure customers receive updated and accurate information.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, airline policies, and fare updates.
  • Follow company policies and SOPs to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in ticketing, reservations, or the travel industry is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, or other GDS platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of airline codes, fares, routing, and flight regulations.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in reservation and ticketing processes.
  • Ability to handle challenging customer situations with professionalism.
  • Knowledge of airline policies and procedures.
