Tier 3 Helpdesk Technician

VirTech Systems is a growing managed service provider based in DeLand, FL, delivering enterprise-grade IT solutions to clients across the region. We're looking for a sharp, experienced Tier 3 Helpdesk Technician who thrives on solving the hardest problems in the stack.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Serve as the top-tier escalation point for complex technical issues across client environments

- Own client-facing communication on escalated incidents — you'll be the voice of resolution

- Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft 365: Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams

- Configure and manage Fortinet firewalls, including VPN, SD-WAN, and threat protection

- Support Cisco switching environments — VLANs, trunking, and layer 2/3 troubleshooting

- Administer Windows Server: AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP, and core server roles

- Manage VMware vSphere and Hyper-V environments — provisioning, snapshots, and troubleshooting

- Operate and validate Veeam backup jobs, restores, and job health

- Manage and optimize RMM platforms, alerting, and automation workflows

- Document everything, build runbooks, and raise the knowledge floor for the whole team

WHAT YOU BRING

- Deep, hands-on experience with the Microsoft 365 stack (Entra, Intune, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams)

- Real-world Fortinet firewall configuration and support experience

- Cisco switching fundamentals with practical VLAN and trunking experience

- Windows Server administration across AD, GPO, and core server roles

- VMware and/or Hyper-V virtualization management experience

- Veeam Backup & Replication configuration and restore experience

- Comfort working in a ticketing system and RMM platform

- Clear, professional communication with both technical peers and non-technical clients

Pay: $57,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
