Tiktok Content Creator

Overview

This position is an unpaid internship with an organization that helps individuals find their families and helps law enforcement give unidentified human remains their names back. This is all done with use of Investigative Genetic Genealogy. We are looking for someone who is interested in building their portfolio. Participating in IGG is not necessary, but this person will be considered for a volunteer position if they choose. We are willing to work with any university to help students get their feet wet.

We are seeking a dynamic TikTok Content Creator to join our vibrant digital marketing team! In this role, you will craft compelling short-form videos that resonate with diverse audiences, elevate brand awareness, and drive engagement across social media platforms. Your creativity and strategic mindset will help to raise funds for our Non-Profit Organization and spread awareness about Missing Persons and giving Individuals back their names.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative and eye-catching TikTok videos aligned with brand identity and marketing goals.
• Utilize video editing tools and graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) to enhance visual content.
• Conduct keyword research and SEO optimization to maximize content discoverability.
• Monitor social listening tools and web analytics (Google Analytics, Buffer, Hootsuite) to analyze audience preferences and engagement metrics.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to plan content calendars and execute social media campaigns across platforms including Facebook Advertising and other channels.
• Engage with followers through comments, messages, and relationship management to foster community growth.
• Stay updated on TikTok trends, platform features, and best practices for social media marketing to keep content fresh and relevant.

Experience

• Experience in content creation for TikTok or other short-form video platforms.
• Strong skills in video editing, photography, graphic design, and visual storytelling.
• Familiarity with social media management tools.
• Knowledge of SEO strategies, keyword research, and web analytics to optimize content performance.
• Experience with digital marketing campaigns, branding initiatives, and public relations efforts.
• Ability to proofread content for accuracy, clarity, and brand consistency.
