Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tile Installer, Wood Flooring Installer, and Carpet Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of flooring materials with precision and craftsmanship, ensuring each project meets high standards of quality and durability. Your expertise will help transform spaces, creating beautiful, functional environments for our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential remodels to commercial installations, utilizing your skills in flooring installation and related construction tasks.

Duties

• Measure, cut, and install tile, wood flooring, and carpeting according to project specifications and blueprints
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary underlayments or adhesives
• Use hand tools and power tools to accurately lay flooring materials while maintaining safety protocols
• Read schematics and blueprints to ensure precise placement and alignment of flooring components
• Perform surface repairs, including water damage restoration and floor care maintenance to ensure longevity of installations
• Install trim carpentry, caulking, fixtures, cabinets, and perform remodeling tasks as needed
• Assist with construction estimating by assessing site conditions and material requirements for accurate project planning

Requirements

• Proven experience in flooring installation including tile laying, wood flooring, and carpet installation
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics, and construction site procedures
• Skilled in using hand tools such as saws, chisels, levels, as well as power tools for precise work
• Background in carpentry, water damage restoration industry experience, or related construction fields preferred
• Ability to work on construction sites safely while adhering to all safety regulations
• Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing and maintenance for finished surfaces
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and craftsmanship
• Valid experience in restoration projects or remodeling is a plus
