Tile & Stone Installer - Apprentice Position

Jousma Flooring is looking to hire and train a new apprentice! Unique opportunity to work next to a certified installer and learn a new trade. Headquarters in Lowell, with jobs out as far as Holland. Did you know that there was a 'Nationally Certified Tile Installer' designation? Set yourself apart and gain certification in one of best trades in the building industry! Ideal candidates have experience installing flooring but other construction experiencing may have you moving in the right direction. Being able to measure and cut/mix materials accurately is mandatory.

Candidates will gain experience installing self-leveler materials, underlayments, waterproofing, as well as setting and grouting all types of tile and stone.

REQUIREMENTS: Reliable transportation, extreme attention to detail, great vision skills, including eye coordination, depth perception, focusing ability and color vision. Also having a good work attitude, open mind, and a strong desire to learn is a must. Pay will be determined based on skills and experience. There is a lot to learn and master to be a certified tile installer!
