Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Timekeeper to join our construction team. This role goes beyond traditional timekeeping, serving as a vital link between site laborers and the HR department. The ideal candidate will monitor, record, and manage labor hours, attendance, and site activities while ensuring smooth communication and coordination across all stakeholders. Strong multilingual communication skills, particularly in Hindi and English, are essential to support our diverse workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately record and maintain daily attendance, overtime, and work hours of site personnel.
- Track and report worker deployment, labor productivity, and manpower utilization across projects.
- Coordinate with project engineers, site supervisors, and HR for timesheet validation, approvals, and leave requests.
- Act as an intermediary between laborers and HR, assisting with leave applications, grievances, and general queries.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly manpower and time reports for management review.
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing verified attendance and overtime data.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date manpower records, databases, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and project-specific labor regulations.
- Support project planning teams with manpower allocation and forecasting.
- Assist in audits and verification of labor-related records as required.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Timekeeper or in a similar role on construction projects in UAE.
- Experience in high-rise or large-scale construction projects is required.
- Strong knowledge of labor tracking, timesheets, payroll coordination, and leave management.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other timekeeping or HR software.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Bilingual in Hindi and English, able to communicate effectively with site laborers and management.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
