Tipper/Concrete Mixer, Class 2 Driver

Hillhouse Group is a family-owned business operating throughout Scotland. The company is a major supplier of aggregates, asphalt, readymix concrete, concrete products, road surfacing and civil engineering services to the construction industry and civil engineering sectors.

Due to continued growth, Hillhouse Group are currently recruiting a Class 2 Driver with Concrete Mixer or Tipper experience, based from our Troon or Glasgow depots.

The successful applicant will join our team at Hillhouse Group. Duties within this role will include but not be exclusive to: Delivering and discharging concrete, aggregates or coated materials in a safe, timely and professional manner in one of our 8 wheeler mixers or tippers. You are responsible to ensure the truck is cleaned regularly. Comply with WTD and EU driving rules to ensure full compliance is achieved. You may be transferred to different plants at times based on workload.

Due to the nature of the work the role requires flexible hours to suit the workload. Must be available to work Saturdays or Sundays on a one on, one off basis.

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 (C) license
• Valid Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph
• Experience of driving concrete mixer or tipper would be beneficial.
• EU Drivers’ Hours Rules Knowledge
