Looking for a Title Agent in Dunedin, Florida, that will be responsible for facilitating real estate transactions by ensuring the accuracy and legality of property titles. This role involves coordinating with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, and attorneys to verify clear title, prepare closing documents, and ensure compliance with Florida state regulations and industry standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and skilled in communication to provide exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
Job Duties:
- Title Examination: Conduct thorough title searches and reviews to identify any liens, encumbrances, or defects in property titles, ensuring clear ownership for real estate transactions.
- Document Preparation: Prepare and review closing documents, including title commitments, policies, settlement statements, and deeds, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Florida real estate laws.
- Client Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, real estate agents, lenders, and attorneys, providing updates and resolving issues related to title and closing processes.
- Closing Facilitation: Coordinate and conduct real estate closings, ensuring all necessary documents are signed, funds are disbursed, and transactions are completed efficiently.
- Compliance and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of title transactions, ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and securely store sensitive client information.
Skills:
- Attention to Detail: Ability to meticulously review legal documents and identify potential title issues to prevent errors in transactions.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, real estate professionals, and legal teams.
