Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Title Company Processor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing title and escrow documentation, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and facilitating smooth transaction processing. This role requires a strong understanding of mortgage processes, underwriting, and financial services to support the successful closing of real estate transactions. Responsibilities
- Review and process title commitments, title reports, and escrow instructions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate with lenders, real estate agents, attorneys, and clients to gather necessary documentation for closing.
- Verify property titles and perform lien searches in compliance with industry standards.
- Prepare and review loan documents, contracts, TILA disclosures, and escrow instructions.
- Ensure all transactions adhere to FNMA guidelines, Fair Housing regulations, and other applicable federal and state laws.
- Conduct credit analysis and assist in loan processing activities related to mortgage servicing and underwriting.
- Maintain detailed records of all transaction documents within the company’s systems.
- Facilitate communication between all parties involved to ensure timely closings.
- Stay updated on industry regulations including TILA, RESPA, and other relevant compliance standards.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of FNMA guidelines, underwriting procedures, and loan origination processes.
- Experience with mortgage servicing, credit analysis, escrow procedures, and loan processing.
- Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations, TILA disclosures, contracts, banking practices, and legal documentation related to real estate transactions.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in document review and data entry.
- Proficiency in basic math skills including 10-key typing for data entry accuracy.
- Ability to interpret complex financial information accurately.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with clients and industry professionals.
- Knowledge of mortgage-related software systems is preferred but not required. This position is integral to ensuring efficient transaction processing within our title company while maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards. Pay: $900.00 - $1,000.00 per week
