Title I Extended Day Acceleration Program Tutors

• Multiple positions- Grades 3-5 (ELA/Math): 27/28 sessions Mon/ Tues/Wed/Thurs 7:45 8:35 a.m. REPORTS TO: Principals SALARY: In accordance with the existing bargaining agreement with the Somerset Teacher or Paraprofessional bargaining units related to tutoring.APPLICATION DUE: Until filledJOB GOAL: To assist the classroom teacher in achieving objectives by working with individual students, small groups of students or in general activities to support student growth and achievement.PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Work with students either individually or in small groups to reinforce learning of reading skills initially introduced by the classroom teacher and limited piloting of math support as needed.3. Alert the regular teacher to any problems or special information about an individual student.4.

Maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students as is expected of a fully licensed teacher.5. Perform related duties as directed by the building principals, a primary teacher and/or the Director of Curriculum, Assessment and Accountability.
