Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Toddler Assistant Teacher to join our early childhood education team in Central Falls, RI. The ideal candidate will support the lead teacher in providing a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for toddlers.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities for toddlers.
• Support the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of each child.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.
• Supervise and engage with toddlers during playtime, meals, and rest periods.
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding children's progress and needs.
• Follow all licensing and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience working with toddlers in a classroom or childcare setting.
• Strong understanding of early childhood development.
• Ability to work full-time and collaborate with a team.
• Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
