Toddler Caregiver Preschool Teacher

Job Overview
You will be responsible for diaper changing, potty training, teaching self-help skills, and helping children learn sharing, taking turns, waiting patiently, following directions, and being kind to others.

You must know how to manage a classroom full of busy toddlers using positive techniques, attention grabbers, songs, puppets, visual cues, and fun activities.

A calm, quiet, but firm voice is important. Children match the energy of the adults. When a caregiver remains calm and confident, children feel secure, listen more closely, and learn to regulate their own emotions and behavior.

You will plan weekly crafts, outdoor games, learning, prepare materials in advance, and create a joyful space where children are excited to participate and be.

Prevent problems before they start by having clear rules, following the same routines every day, and keep children busy with meaningful activities instead of allowing them to wander aimlessly or become bored.

During downtime, you will take initiative to prepare materials, organize the classroom, and maintain a clean and welcoming classroom.

You will greet every child warmly each morning, supervise closely all day, learn each child's personality and needs, and send them home feeling loved and valued.

A good caregiver takes initiative and does not wait to be told what to do next. They know how to use resources such as TikTok, Pinterest, Google, books, and other tools to find new craft ideas, learn songs, and discover fun ways to teach children basic skills such as colors, shapes, letters, and counting.

This position is not for someone looking to simply pass the time. It requires energy, patience, organization, consistency, and a genuine love for helping young children learn and grow.
