We are seeking awarm, nurturing, and dedicated Lead Teacher to join our Toddler classroom! This role is ideal for someone passionate about early childhood development and committed to providing a loving, structured, and engaging environment for children ages 2 to 3 years.
Responsibilities:
- Establish, implement, and reinforce classroom rules and routines
- Supervise daily classroom activities and ensure a safe, nurturing environment
- Maintain effective classroom behavior management strategies
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, child-centered curriculum
- Collaborate with assistant teachers and support staff
- Meet the individual social-emotional needs of each child
- Support and manage diapering and potty training as appropriate for each child
- Maintain accurate daily logs (sleep, meals, bathroom)
- Communicate daily with parents/guardians regarding each child's well-being
- Follow all policies outlined in the School's Employee Handbook
Qualifications: Must Meet At least one of the following -
- Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education
OR
- 90+ credits in Early Childhood Education
OR
- Minimum of 12 credits in childhood education and currently enrolled in a study plan toward an Early Childhood or Childhood Education degree &
- Experience working with young children (2 years+)
