Position Summary:

The Toddler r to create a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for children ages 12-36 months old. You will help support daily routines, assist with educational activities, and ensure that each child’s physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum
• Supervise and engage toddlers during playtime, meals, naps, and learning experiences
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment
• Support children in developing self-help skills and appropriate social behaviors
• Observe and document children’s progress and behavior, and share observations with co-educators.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff in a positive and professional manner
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures
• Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development as required
• Provide individual attention to children in need of extra support

Qualifications:

• Prior experience working with toddlers in a licensed child care setting preferred
• CPR and 45 Hour DCF Training Completion (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Patience, flexibility, and a genuine love for working with young children
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, sit on the floor, and engage in active play
• Full time availability to work Monday to Friday 9:30AM-6:30PM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
