Toddler Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a strong understanding of childhood development principles and the ability to engage children in meaningful learning experiences.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a safe and positive environment for all students.
• Provide individualized attention to children, catering to their unique needs and learning styles.
• Educate children on basic concepts such as numbers, letters, colors, and shapes through interactive activities.
• Observe and assess children's progress, documenting developmental milestones and communicating with parents about their child's growth.
• Foster an inclusive atmosphere that supports children with special needs or disabilities.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom space conducive to learning.
• Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience.

Requirements

• Proven experience working with young children in a preschool or daycare setting.
• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education.
• Excellent classroom management skills to maintain a structured learning environment.
• First Aid certification is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held.
• Experience in toddler care is highly desirable.
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
• A genuine passion for educating young minds and fostering their growth.

Pay: $21.00 - $22.50 per hour
