Toddler Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for working with young children and a commitment to fostering their development in a nurturing and educational environment. As a Toddler Teacher, you will play a crucial role in creating engaging lesson plans, facilitating learning experiences, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
• Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Supervise children during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Engage with children through play, storytelling, and hands-on activities to enhance their learning experience.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of each child's development and behavior.
• Collaborate with other educators to create an inclusive environment for all children, including those with disabilities.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.

Qualifications

• 12 ECE units, 3 of which are Infant and Toddler
• Previous experience working with children in a preschool, daycare, or nannying capacity is preferred.
• Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to create engaging classroom activities that cater to diverse learning styles.
• A compassionate approach towards caregiving and an understanding of the unique needs of preschool-aged children.
• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young learners.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
