Toddler Teacher

Central Childcare is seeking individuals 18 and older with a natural affinity for working with young children. Dependability is a must, as consistency and safe classroom ratios are the most important aspect of a successful program. We serve families with children ranging from 6 weeks to 5 years old. The ideal candidate would be a patient, nurturing and caring educator who genuinely enjoys working with kids and understands that young children are unpredictable and every day is unique. Goals for an effective teacher/classroom include:

· Maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment

· Promoting social emotional development through positive guidance and understanding

· Establishing positive relationships with families through open communication (Utilizing our parent connection app, as well as in person interactions)

· Demonstrating patience, enthusiasm, creativity and a team-oriented approach

· Encouraging independence and growth through developmentally appropriate activities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.00 - $10.50 per hour
