We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate curricula and engaging activities that promote learning through play. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents on their development.
- Foster positive relationships with children, promoting social skills and emotional well-being.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using appropriate behavior management techniques.
- Collaborate with special education professionals to support children with disabilities or special needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that is conducive to learning.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Skills
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and practices.
- Experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is essential.
- Knowledge of special education practices and experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
- Proficiency in classroom management techniques to create an effective learning environment.
- First aid certification is preferred to ensure the safety of all students.
- Ability to engage children through creative teaching methods, including play-based learning.
- Experience in caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.
