Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in toddlers.
• Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence.
• Monitor and support children's behavior using positive behavior management techniques to foster respectful interactions.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times, including supervising children during play, meals, naps, and transitions.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, attendance, developmental observations, and incident reports.
• Collaborate with team to plan and schedule the day to benefit the children in the class.
• Administer basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any health or safety issues that arise in the classroom.

Experience

• Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or classroom setting is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices.
• Experience managing a classroom environment with multiple children using effective classroom management strategies.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is highly preferred.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
• Ability to handle caregiving responsibilities with patience, enthusiasm, and professionalism. Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
