Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in toddlers
• Create a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence
• Engage children through interactive activities such as storytelling, arts and crafts, music, and play-based learning
• Monitor and support individual developmental milestones
• Maintain open communication with parents or guardians about each child's progress and daily experiences
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including first aid procedures and emergency response plans
• Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement strategies to foster cooperation and emotional regulation

Experience

• Prior experience working with toddlers or in early childhood education settings such as daycare or preschool environments
• Knowledge of childhood development principles specific to the toddler age group
• Familiarity with classroom management techniques tailored for young children
• Experience in caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting is highly valued
• Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; ability to obtain after hired
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds and needs
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and engage parents effectively

Pay: From $11.00 per hour
