Toddler Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children. The Lead Toddler Teacher will be responsible for developing age-appropriate lesson plans, managing classroom behavior, and fostering positive relationships with students and their families.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment for all children.
• Monitor and assess children's progress in various developmental areas.
• Utilize effective behavior management strategies to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities.
• Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the educational experience.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom that promotes learning through play.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associates Degree or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Experience working with preschool-aged children in a childcare setting
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in teaching young children.
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage students effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to foster relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
