Toddler Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team! In this role, you will create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for young children aged one to three years old. Your enthusiasm for early childhood development and dedication to fostering a love of learning will inspire our little learners every day. As a Toddler Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth through engaging activities and compassionate caregiving.

Duties

  • Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote curiosity, exploration, and foundational skills in toddlers
  • Provide attentive care, ensuring safety and well-being during daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap time, and playtime
  • Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage independence and social skills among children
  • Create a warm and welcoming classroom environment that encourages children to express themselves freely
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians to share progress updates, address concerns, and support each child's individual needs
  • Maintain accurate records of children's development milestones, attendance, and daily activities
  • Implement health and safety protocols diligently, including first aid procedures when necessary

Experience

  • Prior classroom experience working with toddlers in childcare or early childhood education settings
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices for early education
  • Experience with classroom management techniques suitable for young children
  • Familiarity with special education practices and working with children with disabilities is a plus
  • Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children, caregivers, and team members in a nurturing manner
  • Background in babysitting or nannying young children can be advantageous
