Responsibilities:
- implementing age-appropriate curriculum for preschool and toddler care programs
- Provide support and supervision to children during daily activities and routines
- Deploy behavior management strategies and techniques
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment
- Prepare materials and resources for daily lessons and activities
- Monitor and document children's progress, behaviors, and achievements
- Communicate effectively with parents and families regarding their child's development and daily activities
Skills:
- Experience working in a preschool or daycare setting
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques
- Familiarity with curriculum development and implementation
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with young children
- Organizational skills for lesson planning and classroom management
- Professional, responsible and dependable
Credentials
- 40-hour training via DCF
- Clean background check
- Candidate with a CDA credentials may be considered for the higher end of the pay range.
