Toddler Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children in a classroom setting and will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of Toddler-aged children. This role requires strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage with children of varying abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards and promote learning through play.
• Foster a safe and welcoming classroom environment where children feel valued and respected.
• Engage children in activities that encourage exploration, creativity, and critical thinking.
• Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as needed.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques.
• Provide care for infants and toddlers as needed, ensuring their health and safety at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and any incidents that occur within the classroom.
• Collaborate with other educators, staff, and parents to support each child's individual learning needs.

Requirements

• Proven experience working with children in a preschool or similar educational setting.
• Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
• Ability to manage a classroom effectively while maintaining a positive atmosphere.
• First aid certification is preferred; willingness to obtain if not currently certified.
• Experience with toddler care and infant care is a plus.
• Familiarity with behavior management strategies for young children.
• Experience or training in special education is beneficial but not required.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and caregivers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $25.29 per hour
