Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, promoting childhood development, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students. The Toddler Teacher will work closely with children, parents, and staff to provide an enriching learning experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
• Educate children on various subjects, including basic literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment.
• Provide caregiving support to children, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
• Foster relationships with parents through regular communication regarding their child's progress and development.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom that is conducive to learning.
• Monitor children's progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.
• Administer first aid when necessary and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Work closely with a co-teacher.

Experience

• Previous experience working with toddler aged children is preferred.
• Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies is essential.
• Certification in first aid or CPR is desirable but not mandatory at the time of hire.
