Christian school in North Jacksonville is hiring dedicated educators and a Kitchen Manager to join our mission-driven, collaborative team. We are committed to academic excellence, character development, and a nurturing, Christ-centered environment.

Ideal Candidates:

Certified (Kindergarten) or CDA/Early Childhood Degree holders (Toddlers and Preschool).

Experienced in classroom settings with strong knowledge of child development (birth to Kindergarten).

Cooperative, flexible, compassionate, and effective communicators.

Skilled in lesson planning, documentation, and classroom management.

Proficient in writing, speaking, and computer usage.

Requirements

Kindergarten Teacher

Must hold a valid Florida teaching certificate.

Preschool teachers must have:

• 45 hours of DCF training.
• A CDA or a degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Three years of classroom experience.

Responsibilities:

Create and implement hands-on, engaging lessons.

Support student development and provide individualized attention.

Maintain open communication with families.

Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school events and supervision duties.

Hours:

Elementary: 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Preschool: 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., or 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
(Some evenings and weekends required for meetings/events.)

Kitchen Manager Position

We also seek a full-time Kitchen Manager to oversee our school’s food service operations.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals and snacks in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Maintain kitchen cleanliness and ensure proper food storage.

Order supplies, manage inventory, and track kitchen budget.

Maintain required documentation and work with staff to meet children's dietary needs.

Supervise kitchen staff (if applicable).

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in food service or school kitchen management is preferred.
• Knowledge of USDA guidelines and food safety procedures.
• ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Hours: Monday-Friday, approx. 7:00 a.m. –3:00 p.m.
