ABC Kids Preschool & Infant Care is a high quality, educational preschool and childcare center to parents and their children. Children will learn self-help, social, and educational skills while the teachers work to serve each child’s individual needs. We are a play based program that believes children learn through a variety of hands-on experiences, to give them the chance to learn about themselves, their neighbors and the world in which they live.

Our center is searching for individuals that are ready to join the Early Childhood Field, and be ready to work with students ranging from the ages of 2-3 years old. We provide a community of teachers that support one another, and work as team players. The classroom is provided with all the essential, and allows teachers to add their creative touch and personality to the classroom, to create a "homelike" feel.

Job description

This is a great opportunity for Toddler Teachers to join our preschool/childcare center in Oxnard.

Our program supports co-teaching, to allow an opportunity for growth as individuals, and as a team.

Responsibilities
- Implement age-appropriate lesson plans for toddlers in the classroom.
- Manage classroom activities and ensure a safe and engaging learning environment.
- Provide individualized care and attention to each child's needs.
- Utilize effective communication skills to interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with other teachers to enhance the overall educational experience.
- Incorporate play-based learning activities to promote social and cognitive development.

-Assist with diapering needs, and potty training.

Qualifications

• Nurturing, patient, proactive, creative, enthusiastic, and a team player
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• 12 units minimum in Child Development or Early Childhood Education
• Teacher Permit through CTC (Commissions Teacher's Credentialing)
• Prior teaching or child care experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
