TOEFL Instructor - Mornings

Campus Education is looking for a skilled, energetic, responsible TOEFL test prep instructor for weekday (Monday-Thursday) mornings from 9AM to 2PM. (IN PERSON CLASSROOM ONLY, NOT REMOTE.)

A valid TEFL Certification and prior experience teaching test prep, especially TOEFL test prep, are required.

Candidates without a valid BPSS license will have assistance from the school in obtaining one.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering interactive curriculum based on assigned textbooks and syllabus.
• Supplementing textbooks with activities from text, video, games, and other resources.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Recording accurate student attendance, ensuring accurate class start/end times.
• Preparing effective lesson plans.
• Grading tests.
• Assisting with intake placement test and orientation.
• Participating in curriculum development, including accreditation and certification submissions, annual review, academic planning and review, needs analyses, surveys, etc.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in English, education, TEFL, or related fields.
• TEFL certificate (CELTA preferred)
• Teaching or tutoring experience.
• Exceptional command of the English language, written and oral, and effective interpersonal communication skills, including sensitivity and diplomacy in dealing with people from numerous countries and cultures.
• Previous experience teaching English as a second language to adults.
• Previous experience with TOEFL test prep.
• Professional demeanor and enthusiastic attitude.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
