Tool and Die Maker

Our valued client is a contract manufacturer of quality metal stampings, fabrications, and assemblies with facilities located in St. Louis, Missouri and Humboldt, Tennessee. Manufacturing capabilities include laser cutting, fabricating, stamping, forming, deep drawing, robotic and manual welding and assembly. Our client has developed extensive experience in many industries including Defense, Agriculture, Off-Highway (construction) and HVAC which allows the company to produce parts that range from close tolerance internal transmission parts to very large and heavy deep drawn components for a variety of applications.

Our valued client is currently looking for a Tool and Die Maker for our day shift operation - $29.27/hr

The ideal candidate:

• Must have completed an apprenticeship program (8,000 hours) or 4 year completion at an accredited technical school.
• Possesses at least Two (2) years experience as a journeyman tool and die maker working with metals and knowledge of wiring and hydraulic lines to install electrical and hydraulic components.
• Must have experience with lathes, milling machines and grinders to machine parts and verify conformance of parts to specification.
• Possess the ability to compute dimensions, layout and determine assembly method and sequence of operation.
• Possesses basic welding and brazing skills with capability of determining specifications from blue prints or models.
• Demonstrated experience in working with existing dies, tools, jigs and fixtures to recommend modifications regarding construction and function to part.
• Experience in metal stampings and fabrication is preferred.
• Candidate must understand PM program for dies and tools.
