Job Description: Tool & Die Making Engineer (Tool Repair Cell)
Maintenance and Development of Thermoset & Thermoplastic Injection Molds.
Activities:
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of Thermoplastic & Thermoset Injection Mold’s as per defined frequency and check sheet.
- Breakdown analysis and OEE improvement
- Improving mold performance to achieve quality and delivery targets
- Hands on experience of tool design softwares to modify amend existing mold design
- Good hands-on experience of all conventional machines (Surface grinding, Lathe, Drilling, Milling etc.…
- Good knowledge of CNC EDM, Wire EDM, VMC & Laser Welding M/c
- Spare parts management
- Monthly MIS report – MTTR, MTBF & Tool life.
- Understand & adhere to Siemens policies of EHS, Information Security.
Qualification:
- Diploma in Tool & Die making / Mechanical engineering with 4-5 Years’ experience
- Should be competent to read, understand and make engineering drawings, with technical standards /detailed functionalities.
- Good knowledge about in 3D modeling with Unigraphics NX. Expertise in AutoCAD software
- Knowledge of designing & maintaining the Molding tools, jigs & fixtures
- Basic knowledge of MS Office
