Tool Set-Up Technician **Direct Hire**

IPCC is seeking a hands-on Tool Set-Up Technician to support our injection molding operations. This role ensures machines are properly set up for production runs, operating efficiently, and producing parts that meet quality standards.

Shift Availability:

• 1st: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 2nd: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, install, and adjust tooling, fixtures, and equipment for production machines
• Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and setup instructions.
• Verify proper alignment, clearances, and calibration of tools prior to production.
• Troubleshoot tooling and machine issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate setup documentation and records.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or tooling setup role.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Experience with hand tools, precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers), and setup equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic math skills (including measurements and tolerances).
