Toolmaker/Machinist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Tool Maker to join our team in the plastic manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and repairing extrusion tooling.

Duties:
- Fully trained and competent in using XYZ milling machines, lathes, spark eroder and precision surface grinder.

- Competent in reading, understanding and converting simple - complex tool drawings into final production tool.

- Required to use 2d autocad software.

- Ability to manufacture and build tools from start to finish inc. tooling modifications when tool testing.

- Able to program and operate (FANUC) EDM wire eroders, CNC, EDM Die sinker and CNC spark drill.

- Work effectively as part of a small toolmaking team whilst working alongside the on-site development team when tool trials/ testing.
