Toolmaker/Machinist

Job Overview
We are seeking a Toolmaker/Machinist with a good background in all aspects of Engineering/Toolmaking.

The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing and machining precision tools used in various production processes.

The ideal applicant will possess a keen eye for detail, excellent technical skills, a willingness to learn and to work efficiently within a small team environment.

Ideally you will have previous experience of CNC Milling, Spark Erosion and Benching, however training will be offered.

Salary will be reviewed after one month..

Duties

• CNC Milling/ Spark Erosion/ Wire Erosion/ Benching/Polishing

Experience

• Experience in tool making or a related mechanical role within a manufacturing environment
• Hands-on experience with machining techniques including milling, grinding, and using hand tools
• Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of tooling design, assembly, and maintenance
• Familiarity with safety standards related to machining operations

Pay: From £26,000.00 per year
